Today I want to show you a polish I bought when CVS was having a killer sale last year. It’s also the only L’Oreal polish I own. 😉
Mango-Get-Em, aside from the ding-dong name, is a coral creme that applied pretty streaky. Things evened out by the 3rd coat (which is what you see here plus Seche Vite).
Probably not going to be buying this brand again… I wasn’t impressed.
I don’t know why I don’t have more Pure Ice polishes. I really kind of like them. The pigments on the two creme polishes I have are absolutely awesome.
Today I want to show you Wild Thing. It’s a vibrant chartreuse green, bordering on fluorescent.
This is two coats with a coat of Seche Vite.
I also got a creative hair last night and wanted to try another water marble:
The green (looks yellow) is Wild Thing, the pink is Sally Hansen Digital and the blue is China Glaze Blue Paradise.
I’m running low on pink polishes. Crazy, right?
Today I have for you China Glaze’s Conga To My Cabana. This is an old-ass white label version. The formula makes me want to cry (I’ve noticed this with the old white labels… bad…). I found this while dusty diving in ATL with my SFAM.
Conga To My Cabana has a pretty gold shimmer, which really doesn’t show up much in photos.
This is 3 coats with a coat of Seche Vite.
Like I said, the formula was terrible. It refused to go on nicely, and then it refused to dry. As I type this up (4 hours later), I bet I could dent this without much effort. I’m going to try not to, but I don’t have much hope for making it through the night.
It’s OK tho. It’s still a pretty color. >.<
Well after my nude nails from my last post, I decided to grab one of my vampiest (is that even a word?) shades.
Outside, indirect light
This polish always looks black, but it’s really a dark purple. I knew if I could barely tell it was purple, a camera would never be able to pick it up either. But you can kind of see it in the bottle. Maybe.
I’ve only worn this twice (including now), but I used it for my very first practice water marble. Observe:
There’s a turqoise, a pink and this dark purple. Can I duplicate this pattern? No. I have tried.
You ever buy a polish and then wonder… WTF was I thinking?
That’s China Glaze Camisole.
It’s not a bad color. It’s just prim and proper and NOT ME.
I thought I wanted a nice, neutral polish. I really didn’t. >.<
It looks better in pictures than in real life. This is two coats and a coat of Seche Vite.
I’ve worn this for several hours (mostly sleeping), and it’s kinda growing on me. Wonder how it stamps…
